What is an escape room?
It’s exactly what it says on the tin. Escape rooms are immersive, interactive, game experiences where you and a team are locked in a room (or rooms) for a fixed period of time. Inside you will find a series of riddles, puzzles and clues which will help you find your way out. It’s up to you to escape In Time!
Do I need a reservation?
Yes, our games require advanced booking of at least 5 hours through our website but we may be able to accommodate at shorter notice so give us a call on 01724 622066
Should I arrive in advance?
Please arrive 10 minutes before your time slot so your game can start right on time. Late arrival could result in us having to reduce your game time so as not to impact following guests’ bookings.
What if I'm late, can I still play?
If you’re running late please let us know as soon as possible by calling 01724 622066. If you arrive up to 15 minutes late we will normally be able to let you proceed with your booking. If it is more that 15 minutes we would be able to let you proceed but we will have to start your game-time clock, or cancel your game (no refund will be due for this).
Can I reschedule?
We can occasionally reschedule (change your time/date) your booking providing we are notified at least 24 hours before your booked time. We cannot, however, guarantee that the alternative time/date you are looking for will be available.

I have an extra player, can they play?
Providing the team size does not exceed our games capacities you can bring as many extra players as you like and simply pay on arrival for the extra participants.
How much does it cost?
Prices are dependent on your team size/number of players.
Two players – £48 (£24/player)
Three players – £63 (£21/player)
Four players – £80 (£20/player)
Five players – £95 (£19/players)
Six players – £99 (£16/players)
How many people can play?
We will always do our best to accommodate your group size so please get in touch to discuss. All of our games are currently 2-6 players.
Are there any age restrictions?
There are no age restrictions however any players under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
How long does it take to complete?
Our games last 60 minutes, however, you may escape quicker. This also does not include your introduction time so if you are making plans for after your game we recommend allowing 80 minutes from your start time.
What happens if we get stuck or can't solve a puzzle?
We are here to help! You can always ask for hints and clues so you will never be completely stuck and we don’t penalise you for help so you can have as much or as little as you need.
Do we really get locked in?
No, we don't lock the entrance doors to our rooms. An emergency exit is available in all our games, so you will always be able to leave the room at any time.
If you suffer from claustrophobia give us a call to discuss the games as some are in larger, lighter rooms than others which might make you more comfortable. You will always have the power to leave the room.
Is it scary?
Our 2 rooms at Scunthorpe are not scary, and are built for families to enjoy.
Our "Attic" room will be horror themed with special effects, sound effects and loud noises which will be scary for most people.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing, but you can wear whatever you want!
